At Tell Me More Speech Pathology, we provide services for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Our therapy sessions are designed to support individuals in achieving their communication and mealtime goals, with a focus on personalised, evidence-based intervention.

Session prices are based on the current NDIS Price Guide for speech pathology services to ensure transparency and consistency with NDIS funding requirements.

Private Payments

Transparent Fees & Costs
We believe in clear and upfront communication about costs. All fees are discussed prior to commencing sessions, so you are fully informed of what your speech pathology journey might entail.

Medicare

We are registered to accept Medicare plans. If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) / Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan from your GP, we can help. You will be required to pay the full session fee once invoiced. After payment, you can upload your receipt to Medicare to claim your rebate.

Please speak with your GP to determine your eligibility.

Private Health Insurance (Coming Soon!)
We are currently working on offering services that may be eligible for private health fund rebates. If you’d like to stay updated on when these options become available, feel free to reach out.

Travel Costs for Mobile Appointments (Face-to-Face)

For mobile speech pathology sessions, travel fees apply in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. These fees cover the therapist’s time and travel expenses, ensuring we can continue providing flexible, high-quality services in your preferred location.

How Travel Fees Are Calculated

Travel charges are based on the therapist’s time spent traveling to and from the session location.

Fees are calculated in line with the NDIS guidelines for provider travel, which allow for:

Up to 30 minutes of travel time one way in metropolitan areas.
Up to 60 minutes of travel time one way in regional areas.

If multiple clients are seen in the same area, travel costs may be shared where applicable. All travel costs will be discussed prior to commencement of services.

When Travel Fees Apply

For scheduled mobile sessions:

Travel fees are added to the session cost based on the required travel distance and time.

For late cancellations and no-shows:

If the therapist has already commenced travel and the session is cancelled or the client is not present at the location, the client will be charged 100% of the session fee + travel time.
If a session is cancelled within 48 hours but before the therapist begins traveling, only the session fee applies (no travel fee).
Cancellations made outside of 48 hours will not be charged.
